Who We Are as QSE
 

Introduction

The QSE has been founded part of the Qatari Law No.12 for the year 2004 with respect to initiation of Societies and Private Corporations. Before that the Engineers used to be working under the name “The Forum of Qatari Engineers”. 

Objectives

The QSE objectives can be summarized in the following:

  1. Contribute to the cultural, industrial, urban and agricultural development in the country.
  2. Developing the technical & administrative competence of the workers within the Engineering sector and improving the level of Engineering profession through co-operation and coordination with the related Government and Private bodies.
  3. Raise awareness among the professional members of the society; preserve the traditions of the profession and a closer relationship between engineers of the society.
  4. Development of the spirit of cooperation among engineers.
  5. Contribute to the renaissance of scientific research and benefit fromthe expertise provided by the various sectors in the country.
  6. Close cooperation with the educational and academic bodies in the State that contribute to the upgrading of the profession and the professionals.
  7. Contribute to the transfer of technology through cooperation with local and global bodies.
  8. Provide the necessary training for workers in the engineering sector.
